Hello!

Close-up of a smiling woman with curly hair and red lipstick.

Dear Luminary,

If you have found your way here, I want to begin by thanking you.

Not because you joined an academy, but because you made a decision that many people spend years avoiding. You chose to pause long enough to look inward. You chose to invest in yourself. And whether that choice felt exciting, uncertain, hopeful, or overdue, I want you to know

Not because you joined an academy, but because you made a decision that many people spend years avoiding. You chose to pause long enough to look inward. You chose to invest in yourself. And whether that choice felt exciting, uncertain, hopeful, or overdue, I want you to know that I honor it. So THANK YOU.

My name is Michelle Ledee, and before Lé d'Amora Academy was ever an idea, I was simply a woman fascinated by people, relationships, love and the question that quietly follows so many of us through life:

Why is love so difficult for so many good people?

Over the years, I watched intelligent, caring, capable individuals give their hearts away while forgetting themselves in the process. I saw people settle for less than they deserved, question their worth after heartbreak, and search endlessly for answers outside themselves. And like many of you, I also experienced moments that challenged me to grow, reflect, and redefine what love truly means.

One of the greatest lessons I've learned comes from my own marriage. I have been with my husband for over 20 years, and while I am incredibly grateful for our journey together, our relationship has taught me something I wish more people understood: love for another person is not a substitute for love for yourself.

For many years, I believed that being a good partner meant focusing primarily on the relationship. What I eventually learned is that in order to love someone fully, I must also continue investing in myself. I must continue growing, healing, learning, and nurturing my own sense of worth.

Even after two decades together, I am still learning this lesson. Self-love is not a destination that we arrive at one day and never revisit. It is an ongoing practice. It requires intention, self-reflection, and the willingness to keep evolving.

The stronger my relationship becomes with myself, the more authentic, compassionate, and complete the love I am able to give to others.

What I came to understand is that the quality of our relationships is deeply connected to the relationship we have with ourselves.

Not our appearance.
Not our accomplishments.
Not our ability to be chosen.

But our self-respect, our self-awareness, our healing, and our willingness to know ourselves honestly.

That understanding became the seed that eventually grew into Lé d'Amora Academy.

I did not create this space because I believe I have all the answers. I created it because I believe transformation happens when people are given the tools, support, and environment to discover their own answers. I wanted to build a place where growth is celebrated, where self-worth is strengthened, and where becoming the right person is valued just as much as finding the right person.

This academy represents something deeply personal to me. It is a reflection of what I believe is possible when individuals commit to their own evolution. When they stop chasing validation and start building confidence. When they stop abandoning themselves and start honoring who they are.

My hope is that your time here becomes more than a learning experience.

I hope it becomes a turning point.

A place where you reconnect with your voice.
A place where you remember your value.
A place where you begin trusting yourself in ways you never have before.

Because the greatest relationships are not built on perfection. They are built on two people who have done the courageous work of becoming whole.

Thank you for allowing Lé d'Amora Academy to be part of your journey. It is a privilege I do not take lightly, and I am genuinely grateful to walk alongside you as you continue becoming the person you were always meant to be.

With gratitude,
